Yeah, we are heading in the right direction. We've moved some of our flock of Jacob's sheep out to the spring pasture. As I was taking it all in; *the wonderful-looking sheep, the rich pasture, and the striking fence line,* I couldn't help but consider all of the effort that went into it, and then to rejoice at how excellent it was looking at the moment. We are only a couple of years into this journey, and we've only been living on our homestead for less than a year now, but things are definitely starting to take shape. Here are some photos I just took. **It does look like a nice front yard, doesn't it?**

I am curious about the use of rock instead of wooden fence posts.  I am sure longevity is a factor.  How stable are they?  Can they withstand the animals rubbing and pushing against the rock pillars/posts?
