## <center>So, what's your penis story?</center>

<br>The location of yesterday's workshop was were a good 100 women or so were already gathered when I arrived. The tent was open but the energy was clear when I walked towards it: This was the vagina dialogues and I really ought to let them do their thing and find the men's circle.

At first I didn't quite find it, letting myself walk where my intuition took me and trying not to obsess about it. People I asked didn't know where it was either, and finally I arrived at a large tipi tent where I recognized Simon's voice from inside. I peaked in with two other dudes who just arrived, the tent was packed with men and it was rather warm in there. Simon smiled at us and said "hi friends, if you want to participate come in and find a spot, we are really full but you would be the last ones we let in today, can't let you stand outside if you really want to participate. It's up to you."

I chuckled at the universe, as I was the last one allowed in and sat down in the back where some small space was left open. I had decided that day to go on a microdose of lsd and felt that was a brilliant idea for what was about to unfold, now that I knew I was in good hands with Simon from the workshop the day prior.

"Now that we're complete, I want to greet all of you and to share my great respect for you in wanting to work on yourself", Simon said.

"For today we want to work in groups of five, so just go and find four other dudes and form a crew for today to talk to for this exercise."

The dudes shuffled around and I found a crew of four guys. I introduced myself, and sat down with them in a circle.

"It's getting hot in here with all the bodies, guys feel free to take your shirts off, we're all friends here. Come show those beautiful male bodies, don't be shy."

I took off my shirt and most of the others did as well. Simon continued: "Beautiful men! Look at all those beautiful dudes here in all their power. Let us take a moment to look around and see our brothers, see them for their true greatness in who they are."

It was a magical moment, everything went silent and a good hundred dudes were just looking around, making eye contact with one another in the spirit of "I see you. Namaste".

"Beautiful my friends. Now before we get into today's activities I want to talk about Lingams. About my Lingam, for starters. Lingam is the term I give it because I'm not very fond of the term penis. It conjures up all kinds of hangup-patterns, medical connotations and so on, and I feel it alienates myself from it. So I named it Lingam, because I love the term and it feels empowering you know? My mighty Lingam and me!"

And we laughed.

"I didn't always see it that way, but nowadays me and my Lingam are an awesome team", Simon said. "I love the term, it comes from Sanskrit and has been called *the wand of light*. Now how cool is that?! Waving that magic wand of light around..."

And we laughed hard again, yeah this dude was at peace with himself alright! Thoroughly.

"You know me and my Lingam we can go HARD! I can always trust it and it can always trust me to go where we want to go!" 

We laughed more. Healthy, definitely healthy.

"So before we get into the workshop I want to know, what do you call your lingam? Can I get some names you guys maybe use to designate your magic wand?"

"Oscar!" one dude said. We chuckled. "Oscar, alright man! Who else?"

"Johnson!" - "Tried and true classic, yes!", Simon said. "What other names do we have?"

"The thing!" - we burst into laughter.  "Hope you didn't scare her too much!", and the laughter continued.

"Inspector gadget!" - "Now *that's* smart!", Simon said.

We went through several other hilarious designations and everyone relaxed noticeably. Here we were among a group of likeminded people willing to be vulnerable and to work on ourselves in a private group setting. Guys being guys without shame but huge support for just being a man, as seen and related to by other men.

The tent was closed off on the sides and we felt like a somewhat secret group of guys meeting to overcome our inner hurdles. The scene was reminiscent of Fight Club in a way, just without the violence. And Simon was our Tyler Durden.

He went on: "So now that we are on good footing with our Lingams we can go into the story *about* it. Everybody has a Lingam story, a penis story, and I want you to share it with your four brothers in a moment, whatever comes up in that regard. But before we do I will quickly share mine for those who haven't been to the workshop yesterday."

And I was glad as I wasn't sure how much of Simon's story I had missed the day earlier.

He shared his story of how he got into women, how his first lover took many of his worries away and how he learned to be naked among people without caring about all the artificial mindfucks of society. How to embrace those parts of himself society generally labels as dirty or taboo.

I saw what a shaman Simon was, as he relayed not only words to us but power. The permission to be absolutely content and at peace with your body and your hangups to then work on them as one unit, instead of seeing your issues as an enemy.

"My lingam and me we decided we are beautiful and have no problem with being seen! We want to feel free in the world and we want to make love to women in a way that honors them and that pleasures them without imposing any bullshit concepts on them to live up to!"

And we fuckin' cheered. 

"See? Literally all guys I ever talk to love women. We cherish them, we want to make them happy and give everything we have to be there for them. We LOVE THEM. We want to caress them and treat them like the goddesses they are, from a place of the gods that we are. And for that to happen we have to become a strong team with our Lingam and to accept it as part of us, as something to not be ashamed of but to be proud of! You have a Lingam, you are all men, you and you and you as well! It's liberating to celebrate it and there is no room for shame there, it's all been manufactured by our culture, by tv programming, by our parents and by the church. Probably over millennia. But I ask you: what's there to be ashamed of? Think about it... there is nothing to be ashamed of even when the trained part in us wants to insist on it. Your lingam is a part of you and you have to remember that you are and always will be A TEAM"

He looked down at his pants like the awesome teacher he is and started to adress his Lingam directly. "Lingam, why on Earth would I ever be ashamed of you!" And Simon went from theory to practice in an instant... He pulled down his pants in front of all of us, some dudes literally dropped their jaw at the degree of devotion Simon had to the point he was making here.

He continued while holding his Lingam in his hand:

"They got it all wrong. You are not my enemy, we are an awesome team. You and me make the man. I want to let the whole world know that we are an unstoppable force together and that we will bring pleasure wherever we go in life!"

He stood there still pants dropped and looking around into our eyes. "Right guys?!"

A hefty ***YES*** boomed through the tent as we saw how healthy that type of relationship to our own body was, and some of us may have even thought: "Wow, I wish I owned my body as much as that dude does!"

You see, talking about things is easy. But then willfully making the point by demonstration in front of a hundred strangers, that took balls! And we men in the tent could greatly respect that to say the least.

It was fuckin' inspiring and set the stage perfectly for the workshop ahead! There will be no shame here today in working on ourselves...
