## Hello Steemit!
Here we are with one more week of the #coverasteemian initiative, where you can celebrate the work of others and pay tribute to your favorite artists in this platform. We have been on a bear market for a while now so I can see there has been less participation in general , less people posting.. but.. as I say over and over.. I will continue this project anyways :D !

As some may know, The Open Mic contest is going through a little bump on the road and is having issues with funding their reward pool for prizes , we all know how much @luzcypher helps the music community on this platform so it is our turn to give back! As you may know , there is an account used for voting all valid entries to the open mic contest, this is a way to give some rewards to all the participants and help add some incentive to the music community. This week I joined in myself with a rendition of this amazing song by Lilly , 6/8 feel ballads are my weakness ;) .. combine then with a good melody and lyrics and i'm SOLD... this song happens to be one of my favorite of her repertoire.... so, I had to give it a try!
We also collaborated on a more produced version of this same tune, sang by her of course :P !

It seems this is Lilly's week! .. to my suprise I stumbled upon this very cool track made by @amberyooper , though not exactly a ''cover'' I Had to include this here :D ! A bass was added and some very nice vocal harmonies to give it such a nice ambience.. listened this twice already! As long as people are celebrating other fellow musician's music I think they are more than worthy to have a mention here :D ! Go show some upvote love too !

The #coverasteemian initiative is always open , you can submit a video/audio anytime , just follow these rules:

-Contact him/her and ask permission to cover his song unless it is in the ''Song Pool''.
-Please , don't do a ''cover of a cover'' .. meaning copying another #coverasteemian entry or it will not be considered valid.

-Soundcloud , D-sound , D-live and D-tube links are also accepted.
-Do a post using the tag #coverasteemian, #music should be your second tag.
-The title of your post must start with ''Cover a Steemian''
-Tag @pechichemena and the Steemian you are covering.

-Give us a little introduction of the song and why you want to support that Steemian.
