 It’s a trend that has been going on in a few European football leagues the last few years. One or two clubs that stand out immensely with the rest of the league. Like Paris Saint Germain in France, Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, Celtic in Scotland, etc... Now “De Eredivisie” in Holland is going through the same spell. Ajax Amsterdam is too good for the rest of the league. That is all nice for the Ajax fans, like me. But in the long run, nobody gets better from that. Not Ajax and not the other clubs. The money gets distributed unevenly and eventually the interest from the fans disappears... I hope PSV, Feyenoord, AZ and the others can close the gap, but I don’t think so...
