#### Saturday 10 February 2018 was a great day for steem in Wales.<br>

#### It was the day of the [first SteemWales meetup](https://steemit.com/promo-steem/@pennsif/first-steem-meetup-in-wales-saturday-10-february-2018-lampeter-most-excellent).<br>

#### Almost six months on it must be surely be time for another!<br>

#### The big question is how many steemians are still active in Wales?<br>

Back last November when I started planning the meetup, with the help of @stephenkendal, I tracked down over 60 Wales based steem accounts.

Only about 15 or so were active at the time, but out of those there was enough interest to go forward with the meetup.

In the end we had 10 people at the meetup. A modest number but enough to generate enthusiasm and hope for the future of steem in Wales.

By the time of the meetup some active recruitment and the rise of the steem price had helped the number of active steemians in Wales grow to 35 :

Since then though steem activity in Wales seems to have been on the decline. Clicking through the accounts on the list shows way too many have gone dormant.

I am sure others in Wales have joined to replace them.

We need to get steem steeming again in Wales.

Who is still out there?
