Este islote curioso está localizado no município de Llanes, no Principado das Astúrias.   A sua localização fica na foz do rio Cecilio, que cria a praia de La Playa de la Huelga, em Villahormes.   O ilhéu é conhecido como El Castro de Las Gaviotas e tem uma forma de arco, que parece estar suspensa ou flutuando no Mar Cantábrico.   O Castro de Las Gaviotas tem a distinção de Área Protegida da Costa Oriental.   Você pode descer as escadas em boas condições, então se você tem que estar muito consciente das marés, não dê um susto.   As ondas são geralmente perigosas devido ao acúmulo de rochas ao longo da costa, mas vale a pena ver de cima, mas muito mais, se você for até a areia.    </center>
