Rád chodím na výlety do přírody. Ale když jsem ve městě tak se snažím taky najít cestu, která jde tak trochu přírodou. Tenhle post je o jedné mé trase zkrze Prahu.

I like going on nature trips. But when I'am in town, I'm also trying to find a way that goes a bit of nature. This post is about one of my routes through Prague in Czech Republic.

Celá tahle cesta je půldenní výlet a je dlouhá sedm kilometrů. Výchozí bod je vtok říčky Rokytky do slepého ramene Vltavy. Odkud se vydáte podél řeky po asfaltové cyklostezce.

This trip is a half-day trip and it is seven kilometers long. The starting point is the firth of the Rokytka River into the blind arm of Vltava. From there you will follow the asphalt bike path along the river.

Na cyklostezce si dávejte pozor, protože někteří cyklisté jezdí opravdu rychle. Na konci cyklozstesky uhnete na malou pěšinku vedoucí hned vedle řeky.

Be careful on the bike path, because some cyclists ride really fast. At the end of the cycling trail, you turn to a small path leading right next to the river.

Osobně nejraději chodím pěšky, protože člověk má čas se kochat krajinou a pozorovat okolí kolem sebe. Na tomhle podzimním výletu si můžete nasbírat třeba šípek na čaj.

Personally, I prefer walking, because you have time to enjoy the countryside and observe the surroundings around you. On this autumn trip you can collect a rosehip for tea.

Šípek je výborný zdroj vitamínu C v zimním období. Také si můžete nasbírat třeba Hloh, který je zase dobrý na regulaci tlaku a srdečního tepu způsobeného podrážděnými nervy.

Rosehip is an excellent source of vitamin C in winter. You can also collect hawthorn, which in turn is good for regulating pressure and heart rate caused by irritated nerves.

U řeky potkáte třeba přepadní starou přepadní stoku, jestli ji chcete prozkoumat tak si vemte sebou baterku. Ale pozor si dejte aby nebyly hlášeny deště nebo nepršelo, protože stoka se může ze suché naplnit v okamžiku na burácející vodou!

By the river you will meet for example an overflow old sewer, if you want to explore it so take your flashlight. But be careful not to be rainy weather, as the sewer can fill up with water in a moment!

Je zde opravdu nádherný výhled na řeku a protější Holešovický břeh.

There is a really beautiful view of the river and opposite Holešovice shore.

Cesta pokračuje pod první most. Což je Holešovický železniční most, který je v provozu od roku 1976.

The journey continues below the first bridge. Which is Holesovice railway bridge, which has been in operation since 1976.

Cestou za mostem jsme potkal tenhle nádherný topolový kořen:

Pěšina kolem řeky pak pokračuje k druhému mostu. Což je [Most Barikádníků](https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Most_Barikádníků):

Za mostem je památník obětem padlým při obraně mostu za druhé světové války:

Behind the bridge is a memorial to the victims killed in the defense of the bridge during World War II::

Cesta potom pokračuje po asfaltové cyklostezce klem tenisových kurtů.

The route then continues along the asphalt cycle path around the tennis courts.

U te nisových kurtů se můžete zastavit v bufetu a občerstvit se nějakým nápojem nebo si dát něco malého k jídlu. Před bufetem stojí ohromný Topol černý vysazený v roce 1871. Stom má výšku okolo 30 metrů a obvod kmene 617 cm.

At the tennis courts, you can stop by the buffet and have a drink or something to eat. In front of the buffet stands a huge black poplar planted in 1871. The tree has a height of about 30 meters and a trunk circumference of 617 cm.

U řeky jsme obdivoval spící kachnu.

A taky nechápal tyhle lavičky na kterých snad sedí jen kopřivy. :)

Cesta pokračuje pod třetí most. Je to [Trojský most](https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trojský_most) postavený v roce 2014.

The journey continues under the third bridge. It is the [Troja Bridge](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troja_Bridge) built in 2014.

Pod mostem jsem obdivoval tuhle malou oázu zeleně rostoucí kolem louže, která je tam v jednom místě kde kape voda z mostu.

Below the bridge I admired this little oasis of greenery growing around the puddle, which is in one place where water from the bridge drips.

Jak je vidět, most může sloužit jako lezecká stěna:

Za mostem na louce se dá nasbírat heřmánek.

Camomile can be picked up behind the bridge on the meadow.

Dokonce jsem našel i žampiony.

I even found mushrooms.

Louka je osázena novými stromy a je to skvělé místo na piknik.

The meadow is planted with new trees and is a great picnic spot.

Cestou taky potkáte několik ořešáků. A tak si můžete nasbírat vlašské ořechy. Sednout si s nimi někam k řece a pochutnat si na nich. Opravdu je zde hezký výhled na most.

Along the way you will meet a few Walnut trees. So you can collect walnuts. Sit with them somewhere by the river and enjoy them. There is really a nice view of the bridge.

Za loukou se znovu můžete občerstvit v restauraci a pak obdivovat vodáky v Trojském kanálu.

Outside the meadow you can refresh yourself in the restaurant and then admire the canoeists in the Troja Canal.

Jo taky jsem potkal trojského koně. Asi proto že se tato část Prahy jmenuje Trója. :)

Yeah, I also met a Trojan horse, probably because this part of Prague is called Troy. :)

Dalším příjemným spestřením na cestě je přívoz jezdící zadarmo mezi Trojou a Císařským ostrovem.

Another pleasant variegation on the way is a free ferry running between Troy and the Imperial Island.

Z Císařského ostrova je hezký výhled na vinice v Troji.

Na císařském ostrově se můžete kochat třeba jezdeckou školou pro děti.

On the imperial island you can enjoy a riding school for children.

Také jsme na závodišti viděl tenhle vtipný autobus.

Poté co překročíte druhé rameno řeky Vltavy po mostě, tka se dostanete do parku Stromovka.

After crossing the second arm of the Vltava River along the bridge, you will reach Stromovka Park.

Stromovka si zaslouží vlastní post. Patří mezi vyhledávané destinace mnoha pražanů. Jak sportovců tak pejskařů, ale je i skvělým místem na pořádání oslav nebo pikniků. Můžete si najít nerušený kout a číst si v klidu knížku nebo obdivovat vodní ptactvo. Pro milovníky stromů je to učiněný ráj a určitě by si měly vzít sebou atlas sromů, protože zde najdete mnoho druhů, které určitě nepoznáte jménem.

Stromovka deserves its own post. It is a popular destination for many Prague residents. Both athletes and dog owners, but it is also a great place to hold celebrations or picnics. You can find an undisturbed corner and read a book or admire park. It is a paradise for tree lovers and they should definitely take the atlas of the trees, because there are many species that you certainly do not know by name.

Naši procházku pražskou přírodou jsme zakončily před Výstavištěm Holešovice a nasedli zde na tramvaj. Procházka to byla nádherná a počasí nám v tento podzimní den přálo. Příště Vám zkusím ukázat zase nějakou jinou trasu skrze Prahu.

We finished our walk through Prague's nature in front of the Holešovice Exhibition Grounds and took a tram. The walk was wonderful and the weather was good on this autumn day. Next time I will try to show you another route through Prague.
