Blue hour: unusually colored sunset over harbor in Playa del Carmen, Mexico
**Hi there my Steemit friends and followers!**

Those of you who have been here on Steemit for at least a year probably remember the photo contests once hosted by @juliank as they were among the most popular ones on the entire blockchain. For some time, Saturday was reserved for the **Blue Hour Photography Contest** and for me, it was one of the most difficult categories as I did not really have many blue sunset photos. 

Just a few days ago, however, I took an image that would make a great entry for this contest (at least I think so! :D) so let me share this shot with you today.

I took it some 20 minutes after the sunset already, while coming back home from my evening beach walk here in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Usually, the sky remains red-yellowish for a while after the sunset but for some reason, it turned this bizarre blue-purplish shade that night.
