Despite the pandemic, my family and I went on vacation this year as well. As we have a small daughter, we chose a place for our vacation mainly for her. We wanted her to be able to play and see something new at the same time. Of course, we wanted to go somewhere we weren't there yet, so that we too could see something new. We did not want to go abroad precisely because of the pandemic, so we decided to go on holiday in Slovakia. We found accommodation in Sklenรฉ Teplice, from where we planned trips to the surroundings.

We made our first trip right on the way. About halfway through our trip we stopped at Donovaly. Donovaly are in a beautiful mountain environment. There are ski lifts, which of course we did not use in the summer, but there are also attractions for children. We decided to visit the fairy-tale village of Habakuky.

Meteorologists scared us and it was supposed to rain on our vacation. It didn't deter us. We got in the car and drove off. Fortunately, so far everything went according to plan. Shortly after leaving the house, my daughter fell asleep and woke up just as she was climbing Donovaly. The sun shone beautifully for us.

We park the car in the parking lot and after a short walk we enter the complex. Immediately after entering, I was fascinated by various fairy-tale houses, which are built into the grounds and form a kind of circle, which is surrounded by a wooden fence. One is more interesting than the other.

This grinder even talks to you, and if you toss a coin into it, the grinder will grind you something. So what I don't know, because he didn't try it himself. However, the coin you toss into the grinder is only valid in this town and you can buy it at the cash register or vending machine. You can't buy anything here in Euros or any currency other than their own.

We enter some houses and guess which fairy-tale character could probably live here.

My daughter, who was not even two years old, was immediately attracted by the animals, which are the lower of the settlement. So we leave the fenced settlement and run with our daughter to the ducks. Then we noticed the slides and it's clear where we're going.

We hear drums sounding from the settlement. The actors call the audience to go see the theatrical performance. They will play a fairy tale about wolves and kids. Theater performances are performed here at regular intervals.

There is a painting studio in one of the houses. We don't hesitate, we enter the bottom and try to draw with all the colors we have at hand.

Time is relentless and we must continue on our way. Even though the daughter doesn't want to and would last for hours to play, she has to go to bed. We return to the car and continue on our way. We just managed to do it, because the clouds were clouding outside and it's starting to rain.
