It took me a long time to find out that all I need to relax and to forget all about my troubles and to get through the day is to write! Besides all the artistic things I do, writing is something I really enjoy. The fact that you can write things off your chest or create a whole new world with words is like magic to me.

I keep a journal, I write silly little blogs and I write stories. I have written short story books you could read if I would let you know where to get them first! LOL. Writing is something I do every single day! Yes, even more than painting and drawing! It brings me so much! When I am sad, the first thing I do is write it down. No matter how my day goes, before I sleep, I write.

The last few weeks I have tried my hands on some loving poetry and stories and for the first time in years, it made me really happy! You see, when I started writing, many many moons ago, when I was just a little Snek, I only wrote very dark things. I still feel like the horror and gore is my genre but I am starting to doubt. Maybe, I should open myself up more for the lovey-dovey-goofy thingies of writing!

Instead of torture, share love? BUT, what if people see this side of me? Wait, they already found that side of me a long time ago. So, why have I been hiding that part of myself for such a long time? I have no answer but from now on, I will share more of that side. Perhaps. I can earn a nice hug here and there instead of a whack on the head. No? Oh!

Anyways, writing! I do it here, I do it everywhere I go. Online and offline and it really is a helping tool in my daily life. Sadness, happiness, love, emotions and screams, I turn them into something, a story, a poem or just a scribble and I feel better!

I am a romanticus, I think! ((Giggles)) But, I do hope that one day I will find the perfect typewriter and rent or buy a cabin in the woods (Not a haunted one please) and write a bestseller! Or, just a book really! With the right editor it might become something! (Laughs) I know, I am not the best author out there but you know what my little secret is? I don't care. I know that some would linch me for saying such things but for me it's the truth. I just want to write and share my life in words with others. I don't want to aim for perfection because guess what? I am not perfect, nor do I want to be. I am me, this is me and writing is me!

Hi @poeticsnake, Apparently you are a great writer, even though you don't admit it, but I have to praise you..
Actually I also really like writing, this is my hobby since childhood, even though I am not good at arranging words to be readable, but I will always write whatever comes out of my mind ...😂

What you say is true, all of what we have in mind must be conveyed through writing, so that I even have to write a dream that I got while sleeping and then tell people on Facebook social media (before knowing Steemit, of course), and even my writing have been scattered everywhere so much that it's hard for me to collect again, so much I write because I follow hobbies.

I like to know great writers like you, I want to be a great person too ... if you don't mind, please send me your writing, especially about love (because this is my favorite), I want to read it and hope to follow in your footsteps to produce a book with rely on my previous writings ...
