The Cell Level#
The Cell Level asks us to imagine a human as the smallest structural and functional unit of any civilization. At the most elemental, this level’s purpose is to preserve personal autonomy and identity while fostering a continuous improvement of each human. In the simplest terms, the Cell Level lays the groundwork for Artificially Intelligent personal assistants who serve to help any human self- actualize.
Such an assistant will have two basic responsibilities:
1. Secure User’s personal data
This data will include all information online such as social media to jobs, skill sets all the way to what property one owns
Having this data in one point gives the User to have control over who sees it and has access to it.
Think of the Cell Level of Polyocracy as a locker that you can put all your data in and only you know the combination to. Any entity that wants to access your data will need your permission allowing you to regulate set access and even in some instance charge to access data on topics such as patents, source code, music, art and other creations.
2. Provide actionable analytics
This is to empower a User to self-actualize the life and person they want to be.
For such a system as Polyocracy to be effective, it must first ensure the building blocks of a civilization are functioning at peak capacity. Since we are talking about a human, he/she must be able to function as the best version of themselves so as to allow optimum collaboration in later stages through the webs of interactions built. This is why it is important to have create a personalized assistant that will cater and guide the needs of each human. Furthermore, phrasing it this way will make most feel alienated from the power of making decisions. Hence, the system simply providing analytics and suggestions that the user can apply as deemed fit.
It is only the User who will have the power to mold himself into what they want to be, the system will simply suggest optimal paths towards that end. Genetic Algorithms and Evolutionary Computation will be embedded throughout Polyocracy to ensure such ends on both the personal and societal level.
The actionable analytics provided will also serve to recommend local or virtual communities/ projects a User can engage in as they explore in understanding where and how they want to fit in the world. On this account, the Cell Level will be responsible for tracking progress through contributions made on projects involved in and completing outlines actions created by the User or system.
The Cell Level Technological Structure
With that being said, let’s shift our attention to the technologies that will realize the grand statements presented above. Above is the 186 algorithm that will be used to arrange plus analyze data gathered and produced. I have taken the liberty to label each layer. The definitions of the technologies highlighted in each layer can be found at the Glossary section of this site, future efforts are also underway to make YouTube Videos explaining and detailing visually how such a system will work.
The Cell Level is essential for personal data security and control. Data is the new oil. Therefore, it makes sense to empower our users to mine and sell their own oil. Personal growth is another tenant of this level. We are all striving towards self-actualization one way or another. A system that shows, through data, the domino effects of one’s past decisions leading to present reality would enable individuals to learn and evolve into making decisions that aptly reflects the outcome they want.
