If you want proof that the Left is eating itself, you needn't look further than sexuality.

I used to have this crazy idea that homosexuality isn't a choice. That used to be in line with the Left. I still think that's in line with liberalism. It's definitely in line with the science.

The problem is that the Left is, at the moment, insisting that we need to force ourselves to be sexually attracted to certain people.

Riley Dennis partnered with Everyday Feminism on a rant about how it's transphobic for me to not want to date a woman who has a penis. Somehow, I'm allowed to be accepting of gay men and not want to have sex with a man; but, I can't be accepting of trans people and not want to have sex with a person with a penis.

It's become politically incorrect to not force yourself into being attracted to somebody. 

Some women are only attracted to older men. That should be fine. I've actually been turned down by women for being too young. I'm not going to call those women names or demand that they force themselves to be attracted to me. 

Demanding that people force themselves to want to have sex with you, regardless of your gender, sex, body type, is no different from demanding that gay men learn how to want to have sex with women or that lesbians learn how to want to have sex with men.

We don't have control over this. It used to be that the Left kinda-sorta got that. Now, the Left is worse than the Right.
