Anyone who has to read an op-ed piece in The New York Times which purports to answer the question of why so many Americans voted for Trump probably has no clue whatsoever why so many people voted for Trump. After reading this mind numbingly boring and predictable hit piece, it's obvious that the author has no clue either... a classic case of the blind leading the blind, lol. 

The piece was written by a supposed "libertarian" who used to work at the Koch brothers funded Cato Institute, but oddly enough it's mostly about Covid Covid Covid and Trump's supposedly huge and numerous failures... with no mention of hypocritical authoritarians like Andrew Cuomo, Gretchen Witmer, Gavin Newson, or the many Democrat-run cities and states (and countries in Europe) which implemented harsh economy-wrecking lockdowns yet still did far worse than the US as a whole in terms of Covid deaths per capita.

This is yet another example of how completely out of touch Establishment commentators, Establishment institutions, and their hapless followers have become with the majority of Americans. If I drew up a list of the top ten reasons why so many Americans voted for Trump, the author of this tedious smear didn't hit on a single one... nor does anyone else who appears in the usual suspect mainstream media propaganda outlets. 

After all, the real answers to the question of why so many Americans voted for Trump would rightly condemn almost all such outlets, institutions, and commentators... and we can't have that in the pages of The New York Times. Hence the abject cluelessness will continue.
