Friends, it is time to be motivated in order to be fully committed to God. Nobody can pay God for the life of Christ He gave and all that He has done, He's doing and will still do. Amen. When you recall the faithfulness of God, you will go beyond yourself. The same was applicable to Ruth and that motivated her to follow Naomi, her mother-in-law, even when in the natural sense, there was no future for her. Ruth saw beyond her present circumstance. She saw a better future in following a widow, Naomi her poor mother in-law. She believed in the God of Naomi and her people even when there was no physical evidence of better life.




>_"And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for wither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:" Ruth 1:16 (KJV)_




Ruth was willing to make sacrifices because she remembered where she was coming from. She could tell the difference between serving idols and the true God, so she made that choice, whether He gives me anything or not, I will follow Him.

Even if I die following her, yet will I continue to follow her and trust her God.
Friends, don't follow God because of what you think you can get, rather decide to serve and follow Him because He is God. Amen.


Esther did the same thing in Chapter 4 of the book of Esther. Haman had perfected the plot to destroy the Jews, Mordecai asked Esther to go before the king to intercede for her people, Esther wanted to make an excuse, but Mordecai reminded her that she might have been raised by God for such a time. Amen.



Remember where God picked you up from to where you are now. The reason is because God has an assignment for you. Esther remembered how God lifted her from nothing and crowned her queen of Persia. When you remember how God saved you, you pay any price to advance the kingdom of God. Amen.
