Okay, before proceeding I will advise that if you are a power fan and haven't watched season 6, episode 10 of Power TV series please do not proceed


I am writing this to talk about the Ghost character and his selfishness in Power TV series but before proceeding. I will love to give the newbies to Power, a little hint about what the series is all about

> **Power TV series is a crime action drama. The series stares James St Patrick (Omari Hardwick) who lives a double life and his known as Ghost in the streets. Ghost is a bigtime drug dealer in New York alongside his business partner and friend Tommy Egan. Ghost is married to Tasha and along the line found is high school crush Angela and he reignited their relationship which led to the wreck of his marriage. Ghost has three children but along the line loss his daughter Raina due to his lifestyle and a great fault on the part of his son, Tariq. James st Patrick runs a night club and is a successful club owner in the outside and eyes to the public but in the hidden, he is Ghost, the drug kingpin. I will rate this TV series 9/10 to anyone who desires to watch it but caution there are some x-rated scenes**.

The character Ghost is loved by 50% at least or more of Power fans and I do wonder why people love such a selfish character but I guess most folks are being blinded by its other good traits like his smartness which is something I myself cannot deny for he is a smart one. According to the writer, Courtney Kemp, the character Ghost is the villain of the story and what makes him a villain is his selfish ways and actions. I will briefly list/talk about five selfish acts he has carried on a POWER TV series.

1) Ghost (James St Patrick) used Angela (his lover). The affair between Angela her Ghost was complicated. And I will say Angela is one of those women that's attracted to the bad boy, she ditches Greg (her coworker and colleague) for James even after realizing he is married she still continued with the relationship. She risked her carrier and everything she has work for, for James. I don't think James really do love Angela, I see him as someone who is obsessed of getting his teenage crush back or maybe he may love her but the love was not a healthy one, Over and over the time James made Angela compromises in her carrier as a federal agent for him using the blackmail of love.

2) Ghost set up Tommy to think his father was snitching on him to the fed's(cops) while he was actually snitching on Ghost. The set up made Tommy to killed his own father, Ghost indirectly used Tommy to set h himself free

3) Ghost killed Terry Silva(Ghost defense lawyer and Tasha's lover). He did this act out of jealousy. In this TV series Ghost doesn't want Tasha back in his life as a partner and also doesn't want to see her with another man. Like who does that really?
He gets all mad up when Tommy killed Angela and even tried to kill Tommy on several occasions. But wanted Tasha not to snitch on him or go against him for killing her lover, Terry Silva

4) In season 6 episode 10 (the just last episode of POWER). Ghost wanted Tariq to confess in a law court that he is the one who killed RayRay (the murderer of Raina-Tariq's sister). This was the height of selfish acts for Ghost cause in season 5, Tasha wanted to take the fall for Tariq but he said if anyone should take the fall it will be him but right now he only doesn't want to take the fall but also he is asking his, son, to do what he won't do. Ghost has committed numerous murders and a drug kingpin as we know so if he wants Tariq to redeem himself by confession. I do think as a father he should lead by example

5) Ghost hides money from Tasha.  In the earlier episodes of season 6. We found out Ghost was stacking money that was gotten in the memory of his late daughter Raina from Tasha.

I am not saying the Ghost character is entirely all that bad but he is one of the characters of Power TV series I dislike. Power fans reading this I will love to see your thoughts and comments. And to prospecting power fans, I'm sorry for being a spoiler but nevertheless, you can still watch the Power TV series because sincerely speaking it's one of the great shows, I have watched so far.
