_Hello steamians I come your way today with a word of God._
   __Topic: Be fruitful__
    __Reading: John 15:8-15__
__[8]When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples__. __This brings great glory to my Father.__
__[9]“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me.__ __Remain in my love.__
__[10]When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.__
__[11]I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy.__ __Yes, your joy will overflow!__
__[12]This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.__
__[13]There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.__
__[14]You are my friends if you do what I command.__
__[15]I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves.__ __Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.__
__[16]You didn’t choose me.__ __I chose you__. __I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name Father.___

**__Matthew 5:15-16__**
__[15]No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket.__ __Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.__
__[16]In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.__
      _The word of God helps us to understand that it is His will that we bear fruits as Christians._ _To bear fruits means showcasing Jesus Christ. Which therefore implies that, to be fruitful means to be full of the nature of Christ, not only within but also outwardly producing good results._
         _Also the word of God teaches that we demonstrate our true discipleship by beating good fruit; fruits that will remain and that glorifies God._ _The results that we produce today as Christians must affect the generations yet unborn_.  _Our Christianity must be productive._
         _I hope we have learnt something from today's word._
