<center>Greetings stemianos!</center>

<center>Below I will show you my participation in the ***Comic Colaborativo Distópolis - Cadaver Exquisito 2018***, a ***ZombiExquisito*** initiative that has brought together Venezuelan illustrators for more than two consecutive years to make our work known to through *Collective Exhibitions and Virtual Activities* like this one.</center>

# Susy The Dead
To begin I will introduce you to ***Susy The Dead*** the leading character of this initiative, a very sexy zombie girl, who invites us and guides us in each of the activities called by ***ZombiExquisito***, also protagonist of this *Comic Collaborative* in specific.

# Source of inspiration
I will also introduce you, although you must already know, to ***Amelie*** who was my inspiration to create page # 25, which was assigned to me by lottery. The reason for this reference is because it is my favorite movie; I love the character as much as the colors, the photography, his script and his music.

# My proposal
To create my page, what I did was to choose a scene that could, in turn, give continuity to the previous page; which ends in that *Susy* sends a text message to his companion of adventures that says *"Go to the castle and bring bread"*. Thus, I placed *Susy* in the kitchen, adapting the scene in which *Amelie* waits for the protagonist to unexpectedly touch the door. Once I made this decision I started the sketch stage, from the most basic to the most specific.

### <center>First schemes</center>
<center>So that the idea did not escape from my head and my hands, I made some quick drawings to capture each of the vignettes that had already been structured in my mind. Then I made an initial outline of how I wanted the vignettes to interact with each other so that the images told coherently the story I wanted to tell.</center>

### <center>Creating Susy</center>
<center>Susy has a very particular style, but each artist has the freedom to represent it in his own style; With this freedom I softened his zombie features a bit and made several sketches of the positions that I could possibly use in the different vignettes.</center>

### <center>Vignette to bullet</center>
<center>Once I defined the main character and the positions in which I would need it, I then decided to create a vignette by bullet with each of its details; still in sketch to define the size of each according to the organizational scheme proposed at the beginning. In this process I decided that some elements of the characters in the story could leave the paintings to give it more visual dynamism.</center>

### <center>Passing in clean</center>
Once the vignettes have been defined, I have now placed the boxes on a scale next to each other as it would be on the final page; As everything is handmade, I had to re-draw some pictures, but what is done is done to generate a result according to the quality I expected. Being ready the final sketch I went to clean in black ink to define line thicknesses, shadows and some other detail and finally put color only in some parts of the illustration (in the backgrounds) that correspond to the colors of the reference to the movie *Amelie* and gives the final touch and the link you wanted.

### <center>The edition</center>
After photographing the handmade image, you have to adapt it to the format for which I used the Photoshop program in which I managed to align the margins as well as adjust the contrasts between the colors, the whites and the blacks.
