# Light Bulb that Didn't Light

It is not always that we cartoonists are able to come up with brilliant ideas. Sometimes we run out of ideas just like how writers get their writer's block. When this happens, we have to change our surrounds and find an excuse to tell our bosses that we need a break. A creative break that is. Creative because we come up with funny ideas to get a paid holiday at the bosses' expense.

# Magazine Called Apo
___

I came from this magazine called _Apo_. We call ourselves Apo Troopers!!..name that obviously came and inspired from the Star Wars franchise. To those who didn't watch Star Wars, we told them that Troopers are really cool because they wear white armour with white helmet and have same faces for every each one of them.

Because we work together, we are very much like a family. But even in a family we do not always share the same frequency. That is why we need our break to fine tune the frequency. That is what we call, BONDING.

There are times when the bonding requires a bit more adhesive. So we have to spend the bosses' money to rent chalets, take fresh air while parasailing, get our inspiration from jet skis, look at human anotomy and study them in great detail at the beach. All these exercises increases our alertness and refreshes our mind.

We also mingle with comedians because sometimes they are quite charming with the ladies and there is the spillover effect. That will help us renew our zest and passion for our work. We usually increase in productivity and creativity after a good bonding session.

Sometimes we entertain crowd with some small sketches. Living the life by making people laugh and be happy is kinda addictive.

Sometimes we get lucky and get to meet our idol. In this case its Datuk Lat who is a towering (in terms of reputation and fame) cartoonist in Malaysia. This is how we find ideas when the bulb didn't light up.
