(video)*** <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OhqZh_c-9aI" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> If you're at all familiar with Kiefer's music, you'll know that not only is he a fantastic beat maker, that he's also a phenomenal keyboard player as well. Which, for me, obviously begged the question: how would his music sound if he played with band? Apparently someone was a mind reader over at Stones Throw and decided to give me answer without really ever throwing the question out into the world with this positively jaw-dropping live rendition of "What a Day", one of the highlight tracks from his new album **Happysad**. Kiefer definitely delivers an effortless performance as you might expect, showing off his jazzy keyboard chops while adding plenty of texture and color with his leads. But with the addition of live drums, sax, trombone, and another keyboardist, it just makes what was already an excellent track even better. Overall, now that I know what the answer live band Kiefer sounds like, I'm craving a band album like mad now. Make it happen, good sir!
