Being special is something many crave in a long-term relationship. If you want your relationship to be different from the rest then it has got to be a little more subtle than these. You have to make your partner feel special so that you will be appreciated by them. Here's some simple ways to do this.
When you are around your partner, make sure that you give yourself a pat on the back. Your partner will love that. Do something nice for yourself once in a while. This doesn't mean you have to go out and buy a new dress or buy yourself some nice clothes. Just do something nice and simple like take a bubble bath or watch TV or whatever you normally do when you're out together.

One very important thing that you can do is be honest with your partner. You need to be honest because you both need to be honest. You both deserve to know what's going on.
So even though you do need to be special to your partner, you need to be more than just a friend to them. if you want to make your partner happy. If you want to build a long term relationship with your partner, you have to make sure that you are making them happy. and yourself happy.
