The most memorable desserts of Nelayan Restaurant in Medan are durian and avocado pancakes.

Every time I visit this restaurant, I always order several servings of these two types of pancakes.

Durian is processed like pasta with a soft texture, we still find the typical fibers of durian fruit. This durian is wrapped in green or yellow pancake layer. The look is really very tempting. Likewise, avocado pancake.

Specially, this pancake layer is as soft as pasta. So that, it becomes the perfect blend to be tasted. To differentiate between Durian and Avocado pancakes is by its layer color. Durian is green and avocado is yellow.

Don't be surprised when you taste the pleasure of Durian which melts in the mouth during the first bite.

The distinctive aroma of durian immediately ambushes the sense of smell, but the fragrance is not "as sharp as” eating durian directly from the fruit.

There are a number of Nelayan Restaurant branches in Medan City of North Sumatra. We could find one of them at Medan Fair Plaza, Sun Plaza, Center Point Mall, and Manhattan Mall, and also in Merdeka Walk Garden.

The price of a portion of durian or avocado pancakes that consist of two pancakes are quite expensive. It’s about IDR 30.000. But worth it.
