I just discovered this song/band 2 days ago, and it is honestly rocking my world

It's a German Post Hardcore, Prog Rock (ish) band called "Time, the Valuator"

Some of the yummiest genres in Music

This band reminds me of Tesseract, Ghost Atlas (another band I'm loving lately), even Opeth musically at times, and some other bands I can't put my finger on yet.

The specific song is called "When I Meet Death", from their album "How Fleeting, How Fragile"

I love the piano, the lyrics, the singing, the melody, everything. It's just an all round awesome song.

YES! Share my amazement at how awesome this song is. And thanks for mentioning the drums, I finally took proper notice and yeaaa shit! Haha I've just been mesmerized by the song as a whole. I'm not a musician, so the things I pick up on first must be so different!

Also... funny thing, when I came across you in r/music earlier, your name caught my eye and then I saw the names for your songs and I had to follow you straight away. I'm going to listen to your music properly in a bit, but yea really cool of you to check this song out! Made my day :)

Thank you so much for this. Such a lovely song! I see what you mean by the traces of Tesseract in it. The vocals reminded me of Periphery too. 

Have you listened to Sky Harbor? They have a beautiful song called Celestial and Daniel Tompkins (ex-Tesseract vocalist) sang it. I'm sure you'll love it.
