사용자가 늘어날수록 가치가 오르게 하려면? - 2. 재미와 보상, 배아픔

사용자를 물가로 이끌 수는 있지만 물을 마시게 할 수는 없습니다. 억지로 먹이면 고문이겠죠.

보상을 바라고 글을 쓸 수도 있고, 댓가를 바라지 않고 재미로 할 수도 있습니다. 다만 보상이 눈에 보이면 남들과 비교하게 됩니다. 다른 이들과 비교하면 1등을 제외하면 모두가 자기보다 많이 받는 사람이 있으므로 실망하게 됩니다.

실망은 기대감에서 옵니다. 기대가 크니 실망도 큽니다. 게다가 남의 떡이 커 보이고, 사촌이 땅을 사면 배가 아픕니다. 

아무런 보상이 없는 게시판에, 로그인도 필요하지 않은 곳에 트래픽이 몰립니다. 쓰잘데기 없는 글을 쓰기도 하고, 남의 글을 단순히 퍼 나르기도 합니다. 다만, 많은 이들이 보고, 좋다고 느낀 글 순서대로 정렬할 수 있는 기능이 있습니다.

어쩌면 남과 비교할 보상이 보이지 않도록 하는게 ‘재미’를 보호하는 방법일 수 있습니다. 블록체인에는 기록이 남고, 보팅 가능한 기간이 지나면 금액을 보여주더라도, 보팅 가능한 동안에는 금액을 보여주지 않는게 상대적 박탈감을 줄이고, 재미를 지키는 방법일 수 있습니다. 

물론 이것은 하나의 의견일 뿐, 실제로 해 봐야 결과를 알 수 있습니다.

좋은 글 감사합니다. 보상이 보이니까 오히려 보상이 작아서 덜 만족하게 되는 경우도 많은 듯 해요.
