This could be a competitive advantage for MVNOs like *Cricket Wireless* and *Boost* (in the US) if they decide to implement this. Update 1: Reading the reference article now. It is interesting that Schneier has been pretty antagonistic towards bitcoin in past articles, but he praised this scheme, which depends on implementation of a so-called, <i>PGPP token</i> - a prepaid, privacy preserving cryptocurrency that gets tagged to indicate that a particular slice of access has been purchased. This slice could be recorded in terms of time or bandwidth.
