I've moved to Hive, along with most other people, following Justin Sun's takeover of Steem in the Spring of 2020. I believe hive is a lot more decentralised than Steem!

There's no precedent for a company having such access to most of the population and we will need new legislation to handle the consequences. I'm sure the companies do not really want to be liable for the content they put out, but they may find themselves in trouble of they don't. Some lawyers are going to be busy with this for a while
