#### Brief greetings to all readers of the platform, this time I wanted to talk about a video game which has marked me enough since it was one of those first games I used to play when I was little.
**I spent hours of fun in this fantastic fighting game that I know that maybe many recognize; Bloody Roar 4, a game that I could enjoy on the PlayStation 2 console that was released and developed by Eighting / Hudson Soft in 2003, this being the second installment developed for the console and in general the 6th installment of the series.**
**We will meet with a variety of characters to choose from, characterizing ourselves as human beings so that we can transform them into beasts in the fight.**

This is very brief, going further back in the previous installments where they explain a bit of the history of the game itself and why these humans are transformed into beasts, explaining that humans were categorized as zoanthropes that are beings capable of having some ability or animal strength but with the intellect of the human being, sounds fantastic, does not it? However, as the technology progressed, the researchers set out to awaken these abilities that apparently remained dormant in the human genome, revealing a corporation that wanted to exploit these skills for profit, but the plans of the Tylon Corporation were sabotaged by some rebellious zoanthropes who were against.

When they achieved their goal, they exposed themselves to the sight of ordinary humans, which led to a wave of criticism against the zoanthropes, forcing them to flee and find a corporation to support these beings.
As you may notice, the story of Bloody Roar begins, in this 6th installment we will be able to see different stories in the **arcade mode** depending on the character we play with, since each one carries a different trajectory although these can sometimes be intertwined.

We will find some ways not so varied but that meet their purpose to entertain the player although these may already be somewhat repetitive in various types of game, although for the date that was released was very good work.
Mainly we will have the **MODE ARCADE** as we already know where we can choose a character from our list and start the story, we can unlock some characters and in turn, extra skills, achieving new endings, the truth is that it is very fun to investigate what happens with each of the characters and what we would say with our favorites.

In this mode we will have to go battle after battle eliminating the opponent to go to the next level with an increasingly higher difficulty where as we move forward it will be a little harder to defeat our enemy.
Another of the best ways without a doubt is the **VERSUS** well of course we all love to challenge our friends in a competitive fight to see who is the best.
The other following modes are the classics that, as I said, tend to be very repetitive in this type of games and they never fail, however, they are not superfluous;

**Race mode:** In this mode we will have a board of spheres where to get them we must eliminate the opponents all this to go winning DNA and unlock new skills.

**Training mode:** In this mode we can train to learn how to use the characters and so we do not have a hard time fighting.

In Bloody Roar 4 we will have an extensive category of characters to choose and play where we can see different types of beasts, each with a different story and a total of 18 characters.

Most of these characters have already seen them in previous installments, however there are several characters included as is Nagi being half Unborn and one of the main characters of this installment.
We will also meet well-known characters such as:
**Yugo:** We can recognize this character better because of his beast form, which is a wolf, knowing himself to appear in each of the sagas and considering himself as the main protagonist of the entire series.

Bakuryu: made his first appearance in the Bloody Roar 2, where after losing his parents he was trained by a ninja named "Bakuryu" to become his successor, when learning each technique he was given the name "Bakuryu", arriving to work like this for the Tylon company until its end.
**Alice:** being in her beast form a rabbit, is a quite comfortable character to control, starting her appearance in the Bloody Roar 1 was kidnapped by the Tylon Corporation when she was a girl and turned into zoanthrope to get the skills she possesses .

**Reiiji:** It makes its first appearance in this fourth installment, having the shape of a crow, it is one of the "Yatagarasu" being these 4 clans of monks, known to obtain a power of transformation of the beast in their genes, without However Reiiji to obtain his powers kills his father and runs away in search of strong zoanthropes with whom to fight, being thus a character of the very sadistic series.

This game to be one of struggle, at the time had a lot of popularity because of the theme in battles where we will control a character half human and half beast, from a wolf, tiger, rabbit, bat .. and you what do you want to be?
The fights will be composed of a 1 vs 1, will have 2 bars of life, one of them with half life in human form and the other of beast.

With a maximum of 2 rounds, option that we can change if we want to increase the rounds or simply decrease it to 1, the same with the time in which the battles will be executed, for the minimum they are of 90-120 seconds that we can also adjust to our taste if we want unlimited time or more.
The battles will be like in any other fighting game, we will have the option of executing a power in the beast mode depending on the character we choose, and we will be able to execute combos, being a very comfortable and practical way to play.

Finalizing this way my post I will leave my personal opinion about the whole game leaving a final score of my evaluation regarding this fantastic game that without a doubt I know that many will recognize, personally it is very nostalgic for me because it was part of those games that led me to love videogames so much when I was little.
In general, Bloody Roar 4 shows us a very complete wrestling videogame for the date in which it came out in 2003, having fantastic graphics with the blood effects in each fight is something to take into account and I really liked it. that graphically all the characters are aesthetically beautiful as well as the scenarios.

The story is quite full and the truth is that I was very comfortable with it, my only semi-criticism about this game is in the battles that despite being structured with guides to elaborate the attack movements, there are times that it's just like we say a **"crush buttons"** to achieve all the movements and win, despite it is very fun.
The theme of the game in a combination of humans and beasts I will not deny it I loved it and when giving me many moments of fun and memories I have nothing more to say that it has been fabulous.
