The image of Old Wyzima was reflecting on the lake's surface and was reminding the burning village not so long time ago. Now, with the renovated palisade, it seemed at least acceptable from the outside. Geralt, looking out of the chamber window, preoccupied with his own thoughts, was disturbed by the Chancellor: "The King is waiting." Foltest sat at a massive table, immersed in a pile of scrolls. When he saw the witcher, he gestured toward the servant, who immediately grabbed the documents and walked out of the room with the guards. As soon as the door closed behind them, the king pointed to his chair just to his right. "You're still suprising me witcher," the king began his speech without courtesy. "Not only you did manage to get my daughter rid of the curse twice, now I owe you for saving my life. Geralt, what if You stayed in court for a while? "" Sir, in Wyzima, I will probably stay for some time, but please do not try to hire me as a mercenary. "Sure," he said, "thank you, that you'll stay for a while. Now, after Demawed's death, the concerns are justified. "Geralt rose and bowed slightly. The king answered with a nod. The witcher walked to the door. "Geralte?" "Yes, sir?" "Do you want the eight thousand orens for killing the Grandmaster?" "No, it was a personal matter," he said without hesitation. "I thought so."
