i agree! some people focus their time and value on the dollar figure on here. its hard not to!i wonder if it can become mainstream since it is based on, in large part, money.

great platform, steem! ive read many inspirational posts.

If I agree the main thing is to be able to express yourself and then everything that comes is like a bonus.

In my view, the value of a post or even any action in our life for that matter, is far more than just the monetary value that is attached to it. Touching a life in any way and making a difference, however small, matters much more.   My wife and I supported a young girl to get education by paying her fees.  Was perhaps one tenth of my monthly income as a one time spend.  We forgot about it but four years later, after completing her eduction and getting a job, the girl came and showed us a receipt for having paid fees for another girl's eduction.  That means a chain reaction had started.  The action, therefore, was not just worth the money that had been paid by us as fees. It had touched lives and made a difference. 
On Steemit, you are correct in pointing out that many newcomers write blogs with quality content.  Their posts get lost in the flood of posts and hardly get noticed sometimes due to various factors which you have stated. However, that does not diminish the value of those posts.  In my case, a comment such as "your post made me laught" or "you brought up an interesting point" gives me immense joy and makes my day- irrespective of my post shows any substantial dollar value.

I just love the way you speak @rok-sivante.  The ideas just come through with such clarity, your writing is easy to read and covers many avenues.  And like you say, any one post can change a life.  In that sense, maybe all posts are equal in the sea of steem and those that choose to play here give and receive exactly what they need.  All actions are done with intention and the outcome is what keeps life moving.  Actions not done with intention will still happen, except the one doing them does not notice, so much is missed and life passes them by.  

So just simply, if we all create, write, collabarate, curate, converse and comment with intention.  This tiny block of connection has unlimited potential.

Well written! I did discover many great articles on steemit, especially on the travel tag, nowadays many whales stop voting so they got very little payout. But it give me a lot of inspiring. 

This articles inspires me greatly. I joined Steemit last year, firstly treated it as a "lottery place", just posted some odd pics, expecting it get a bit of luck. Then after HF19, I started to treat it as my "part-time job" cos it did bring me some profit to be honest.

Every day one or two posts……But after a few weeks, now I start to think I became more of a robot. So I started to make a change now. I hope I can also inspire people like your articles do.

Those posts got high payout do not necessarily mean high value. Keep going, keep on writing with your heart.
