837 - Vida Selvagem Canadense - Parte 5
Hoje continuaremos a série "Vida Selvagem Canadense".

A Casa da Moeda Real Canadense é conhecida por seu trabalho de alta qualidade e pelo enorme número de moedas comemorativas emitidas a cada ano. Entre estas comemorativas encontramos muitas, individuais ou em série, sob o tema “fauna selvagem”.

O Canadá, com suas vastas terras e mares, é o lar de uma fauna variada e isso será mostrado nesta série.

Vou tentar postar animais terrestres, animais marinhos e pássaros, nessa ordem.

A quinta é uma 2017 CAD $20 "Breaching Whale".

Pesa 31,39g com pureza de prata de 99,99% e acabamento Colored Proof. A cunhagem foi de 7.500 unidades. O preço de emissão foi de CAD $117,95.

O reverso apresenta uma representação tridimensional de uma baleia-jubarte (Megaptera novaeangliae). O fundo mostra as águas da costa do Canadá, onde um farol pode ser encontrado nas rochas do promontório à distância. A superfície do oceano alterna entre ondas suaves e ondulações suaves causadas pelo surgimento repentino da baleia. A própria baleia foi moldada por meio de um processo de termoformação, a baleia em relevo agita ondas espumosas e um jato de respingos do oceano enquanto se lança quase totalmente fora d'água.

O reverso foi desenhado por Matt Bowen.
