94 - Quarters do Milênio - Parte 2

Para celebrar o novo milênio, o Canadá criou um programa de dois anos de moedas circulantes/comemorativas. Cada programa lançou doze $.25 por ano (um por mês) e cada moeda com um desenho diferente.

O ano de 1999 apresentava desenhos representativos do passado do Canadá. O ano de 2000 representaria os sonhos do Canadá para um novo milênio.

Cada moeda pesa 5,83g com 92,5% de pureza de prata e acabamento Proof.
 
A primeira é abril de 1999 "Nossa herança do Norte". O desenho nos mostra a Arte Innuit, apresentando uma coruja e um urso.

A segunda é maio de 1999 "Viajantes". É uma homenagem aos exploradores e pioneiros que mapearam as novas terras e criaram o comércio de peles.

A terceira é junho de 1999 "De Costa a Costa". Celebra a Pacific Railway, que conecta o Canadá de costa a costa.
