Every region around the world has a different myth story. This time, I will tell a little about the folklore about the origin of the occurrence of the Rainbow or in the language of Aceh called Buleun Raja Timoh.

In ancient times, there was a child who lived with his mother whose name was unknown and where he lived. One day, the child went to play a friend's house across the river and had to pass through the wilderness. When he got home, he felt tired and felt the need for supplements to get fit again. Usually, he always consumes bitter coffee with eggs to regain the stamina.

Arriving at home, he was looking for a chicken egg that is usually found under a pile of wood beside his house because usually the chickens belonging to his mother lay there. He also found 3 eggs in a somewhat scrubbed place that is right next to where usually the chickens lay their eggs. Apparently, eggs taken by the child is a snake egg and not a chicken egg.

He also broke the egg one by one without suspicion at all and drank it with a bitter coffee that has been prepared. Without waiting for a long time, he drank it and hoped his body would get excited and fit again. Apparently, because he drank the snake eggs and his body became hot and continued to feel thirsty and increasingly thirsty.

Her body feels very hot and thirsty. He tried to drink a glass, a pitcher, and finally went down to the well. Apparently, after he drank the water wells up, his thirst was not lost. Finally, become a dragon go to sea to drink and never come back again. Now the dragon lives in the swamp that is in the jungle and places where there is water so that he can always get water to drink. The appearance of a rainbow or Buleun Raja Timoh is considered as the appearance of the child who has consumed Snakes eggs.

This story is actually not fully trusted by the people of Aceh which is very modern. In addition, there are many versions of buleun Raja Timoh story that are slightly different in Aceh because each has a different source and this story is still being told to the Acehnese children as the inheritance of their ancestors.
