**In the past 5 months,** our Steem Mentor Teams have started onboarding newcomers onto Steem + mentoring newbies in using different dApps effectively in their communities.

I want to let our **Mentors Community** know that **@steemonboarding** has just announced [Operation Mass Adoption Contest](https://steemit.com/contest/@steemonboarding/contest-or-operation-mass-adoption-or-2-000-steem-in-prizes) yesterday.

### Here is a Brief Summary of the Contest:

### 1.  The Requirement to Join the Contest
- A reputation higher than 57
- Created your account before March, 2019



### 2.  Contest

- Get your friends, family, colleagues to join STEEM
- Get as many people as you can to sign up on Steem. 
- Help your friends to become an active user like yourself and get engaged in the community.


### 3.  Time

- 21 Days
- Starting on Wednesday, May the 22th at 00:01 PST 
- Finalizing on Wednesday, June the 12th at 23:59 PST.


### 4.  How To Get Started
- Share with your friends how great STEEM is for you.
- Show your friends your Steemit blog
- Direct your friends to the @steemonboarding videos at https://steemonboarding.com for a deeper understanding of STEEM.


### 5.  Two Prizes 

### a. 1000 Steem Reward

5 Winners will share the 1000 Steem reward sponsored by @theycallmedan.

1st place - 300 Steem	
2nd place - 250 Steem
3rd place - 200 Steem	
4th place - 150 Steem
5th place - 100 Steem	

(Prizes may grow if there are more sponsors!)

- Use your best ability to get many users to sign up.
- The one with the most users signing up will win 1st place.

### b. 11,000 SP Delegation to the Most Engaging Community

- Receives 10,000 SP Delegation from @yabapmatt 
- Receives 1,000 SP Delegtion from @OCD for the next  90 days.

**Our "Be A Mentor" community**  started in January 2019.  We are a young and small community.  Our community @beamentor campaign has also been accepted by fundtion-io.
