# Have you ever tasted the sea water? If you do, then you could probably agree with me that sea grapes taste like sea water too, slightly sour and refreshing. Sea grapes resembles bunches of little grapes that's why they called it "Sea Grapes", but locally referred to as "Ar-arosep" in Ilocano.

# My nephews and nieces love eating ar-arosep because of its slightly sour taste and whenever they eat this, it seems like there's something that burst in their mouth. LOL. They even called it "Litik-Litik", do you know why? According to them, when they chew it, it sounds like "Litik-Litik" in their mouth..Hahaha, it's really funny how the little kids describe that so called ar-arosep. But yes, sea grapes are crunchy yet supple and bursting with sea water when you chew it.

# Sea Grapes is perfect to be consumed during summer season. It is usually eaten fresh as a salad with some slices of tomato and onions and a pinch of salt. You should consumed it immediately before the water content loses. Ar-arosep is also good for people suffering from thyroid problems because it is high in minerals, amino acid and iodine.
