Dear readers, I continue to introduce you to the village of Zatoka, which is located on the Black Sea coast in the Odessa region. The territory of the resort is divided into two parts, which are connected by a huge bridge. Therefore, not only cars, but also trains move on the bridge.
Every day at a certain time, the bridge is closed for the passage of ships. It is at this point that the Dniester (Dniester Estuary) flows into the Black Sea. Thus, you have an estuary with fresh water on one side of the village, and a sea with salt water on the other.
We visit Zatoka almost every year, though not always in the summer, more often in the spring, when we come to Belgorod-Dniester to visit our grandmothers.

The sea is always warm and more or less clean in Zatoka. But this year it did not welcome us very warmly. Cold and full of algae, in fact, you go into the water, and there is a "green porridge", which is teeming with jellyfish.
If you walk early in the morning in the direction of Sergeyevka (a neighboring village) along the spit, you can find a" piece of the sea " and cleaner. Below in the photo is a more pleasant section of the sea :).

Then you can see the central beach and the most "green" part of the sea coast.
The beach is equipped with changing rooms. There are sun beds, but we did not use them, we prefer to lie on the warm sand. There are garbage cans everywhere. Garbage is taken out regularly.

The entrance to the sea is a sand with a small shell.
In Zatoka there are hotels, guest houses, recreation centers, sanatoriums for every taste and for every size of the purse. I will write about our place of residence - the first guest house - in a separate review:). Some vacationers prefer to live in apartments with sea views.
There is no spontaneous trade on the beach, if someone appears, then the violator will have to pay a considerable fine for this. On the beach there are places equipped for ordering, you pick up the handle and they bring you everything you want.
After a delicious dinner, you can take a walk to the entertainment Center of Summer. There is a dance floor, and a stage where various groups come to perform with their concert programs, as well as a restaurant with European and Asian cuisine.
But if you do not like a noisy holiday, you can visit the recreation park, which is located near the village council building.
Magnets and any souvenirs can be purchased on the central alley of the village.
In general, if the sea was friendly and the sun was warmer, then the rest would be even more successful :). I recommend a holiday in Zatoka to anyone who is not afraid of surprises from the sea :). Direct minibuses run from Odessa. One hour and you are already there.
