First of all I’m so sorry to hear about your work getting  Plagerized! That must be a terrible feeling!

Second, you sounded great for your first English video and I loved it! Keep them coming!

This is awesome! I have the same issues making a video and speak English... You are doing great! 

And the message is important, no one likes to find their content used by someone else, it makes me angry and sad to hear about these things.

It's rather unfair to have someone get away that easily while some of us are trying so hard to make original content everyday. I cant imagine how you must have felt. I hope we can be more responsible for our upvotes (and maybe learn to speak up and downbote the peoplw whom we know is cheating the system)

First of all may you be fit and healthy as soon as possible. Secondly you are not looking bad at all. Thirdly I agree we should at least try to be as honest as we can because it will ultimately benefit ourselves as member of this platform. Thanks for helping all of us.

You are absolutely right, plagiarism and scamming floods the platform, hiding valuable content, especially from newbies - it seems like no matter how good of a post write, it win't get any notice, while posts that are clearly copy-paste gets plenty. 

I wish there were something we could do - because voting carefully wont do much of a different, coming from new-comers, it's more in the hands of whales and people with much more power.

Yes you are right. We need to check because many people are getting rich without effort. Steemit must continue to grow in a healthy way :)

You did a wicked awesomesauce job with the video, @roxane! In fact you did better with your second language than I do with my first! Oh, and your "sorry I'm sick" look is ten times more adorable than my every day "I'm fine" face - LOL

I have to say, one of the best things I discovered about Steemit is the ability to deal with plagiarized content. As an (amateur) writer and photographer, I've also found my work where it didn't belong (however, never poorly translated through Google - that's an angle I hadn't considered!).

Excellent advice, and this is the first DTube video I've watched that didn't buffer and freeze - well done! While I haven't downvoted anything yet (still a relative newbie on Steem), someone pointed me in the direction of Steemcleaners, and I have their account bookmarked. As I told the person who gave me the info, "[plagiarism is] a pet peeve of mine, as anyone in the Smart Witch Facebook group will tell you - I'm forever deleting posts, and calling out members (nicely, of course - more flies with honey, and all that) who share images without attribution." 

I totally agree! People should make their own posts... Dont be scared about anything, just be yourself :)
