The Temple, whose members are known as Knights Templar, was one of the most powerful Christian military orders of the Middle Ages and remained active for just under two centuries. Its purpose was to protect the Christians who made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem after its conquest.<br>

The Temple grew rapidly in size and power. The Knights Templar had as a standard a white cloak with a red cross drawn. Its military members were among the best trained warriors who participated in the Crusades. Many non-military Templars created a complex economic structure within the Christian world, new financial techniques that constitute a primitive form of modern bank banks, in addition, built a series of fortifications throughout the Mediterranean Sea and the Holy Land being a significant avence for the time . Reason for which the templarios acquired a very high power for that then power that cost its dissolution like order and until its individual persecution.<br>
