Have an idea for a Contest? Pitch it to me and Win some STEEM and SBI shares!

I had a lot of fun over the last year and a half hosting a wide range of different contests on STEEM in which I reckon I gave out at least 1.5k STEEM by now. From my regular Caption Contest, Task Request contests, Steem World Map contest and  many others, it has always been fun to connect with the community over a contest and reward participants for their efforts.

I've been contemplating on hosting another weekly contest for a while now and I have a couple of ideas on my mind but I would love to hear what you think would be an awesome contest. Something we haven't seen before, something unique, creative and interesting. 


Let me know if you have any ideas for a new contest in the comment section down below and I'll reward the best suggestion with some liquid STEEM and SBI shares at the end of the week.

How about a design contest with weekly topics? The participants create images, illustrations, comics etc. about a specific topic (for example global warming, delicious breakfast, outer space, ... ).
How the images will be created is free choice. It can be hand drawn, or handmade collage, or with software and computer programs.
And the most important condition: original content.
I think it would be a great opportunity to connect many many designers, creators and makers on this platform. ;)

You can make people guess crypto  price prediction. You can make people find rare words in the dictionary. You can ask people to tell a short story in less than 50 words on a specfic topic.

Thanks, I'll definitely check it out. 

I agree, higher rewards are great but unsustainable for someone like me who can't afford to invest an x amount of Steem per month. 

Makes me think.... maybe I should make a monthly contest with a weekly post reminding participants about it and acquiring new ones. That would be more sustainable and the rewards would be much higher than the weekly contests.

1 What about introducing # Steem weekly speech on Twitter, for example; contestants are expected to give at least a speech about the goodness of Steem blockchain, in the speech, the contestants must say up to ten good things about Steem in his/her Twitter video and then tag #steem, #Steemit #blockchain, etc. Then you [@runica](https://steemit.com/@runica) will make a weekly post on the challenge so that all the contestants can drop their Steem Twitter promotional link to win some steem.

2: What about contestants bringing someone to Steem blockchain, get them register on steemit.com,  do introductory post and mention the contestants as referral, and both the referral and the introduced person get steem rewards.

I like the idea as spreading awareness on Twitter and other social media platforms is something that is necessary for this blockchain to get its name out there in the masses but I think that people would run out of good things to say about steem after a couple entries :D 

I'll see if I can think of something else that includes Twitter promotion .

If the idea is to promote steemit and crypto currencies. How about participants introducing new people (friends/family/even enemies) to steemit to grow the community, help them to get active. Let them make post and tag who invited them, and what inspired them to agree to join. Reward both referer and referee according to the commitment and involvement by the referee.

How about a **Word Game**! You have to set a theme word or phrases. Then participants has to create the word or phrases out of something. One has to be creative and imaginative. They have to post a few progress shot as how it was done or what materials have been used. In that way, every submission will be dealt with great effort.
