***Brooks Ghost 11 Man***
We continue the tour of the companies talking about Brooks, a strong US company in the last 15 years has had a great global prominence.
Born a long time ago, in the 70-80s it was fairly famous in Italy, I remember buying a pair of Brooks shoes and having had positive feedback from using this product, then in the 90s, at least for what concerns the Italian market, Brooks has had a long period of inaction, returning at the beginning of the 2000s with a renewed distributive force, which has contributed to the substantial renewed diffusion of their products, until reaching the top of the sales charts in the US market.
I resumed dealing with this brand in 2006, and since then I have always given continuity to the relationship with Brooks, seeing the success of his shoes such as Glycerin, Ghost, Adrenaline, just to mention some products, and I remember with pleasure that on the occasion of my participation in the 100 km of the Passatore, the famous "Florence-Faenza", I had at my feet a pair of Glycerin 7, with which I ended my personal effort without problems.
In addition to the Glycerin, I have worn other Brooks models, such as Ghost, Launch, Racer ST, Pure Flow, and I can safely say that all the products that I have personally chosen have never had any problems, unlike a time, in which the importer of the brand, during a company meeting with other retailers, wanted to give me a couple of Brooks Trance a few years ago, knowing the fact that I am a runner with excess pronation.
He was convinced that this model would not have caused me the inconveniences that analogous shoes of other companies had given me in the past years, but after a month from the beginning of their use, initially as a spare time shoe and later as a running shoe, my right knee suddenly stopped a workout, making me fear the worst for my joint.
Fortunately, it was enough to go back to using a neutral setting shoe to solve the problem.
In the current collection, the model that I sold the most was the Brooks Ghost 11, while the Glycerin suffered a fairly large downturn, due to the version 15 that was not much appreciated by the public in my shop for a tread wear a lot rapid.
It 's one of the brands that I will be most fond of, when in a couple of months I will definitely close my shop, to this company are connected many good memories, both in terms of competitions carried out, both in terms of commercial relationships very intense and valid .
