It takes four years for halving to occur, by this we should expect the next halving in the year 2024, the value of BTC will be bisected to 3.125BTC, the total of 656,250 new BTC will be issued out, whenever bitcoin is been halved miners rewards are usually reduced this fact brought about the 3.125 BTC Note.
