This movie was released in Christmas of 2009 in India. 

As a former network marketer, this movie came highly recommended by fellow network marketers as it teaches lots and lots of valuable life lessons. 

Regrettably, I didn't watch the movie until I met my wife 5 years later but I'm very glad I watched it with her. It will put you in a roller coaster of emotions and will literally touch your soul no matter how insensitive you are.

And I believe that this movie is a must for everyone out there. It's humorous, heart-warming  and sometimes, whenever I watch this movie again, I feel that it was created for us bloggers, for our crafts, for the value of our words that we share to the world. 

I wish you would have already seen this movie but if not, I highly recommend it.

Here's a quick rundown of what the movie is about.

## <center>Synopsis</center>

This is the story of about 2 men (Farhan and Raju) searching for their lost friend (Rancho) who disappeared during the day of their graduation. They recall their engineering days where in their lost friend helped and inspired them to treat things differently and why following your passion can be very rewarding even if the whole world is against you. 

And more than the entertainment, 3 Idiots taught me lessons about some of life's most vital aspects.

 ## 1. Machine and Books

This scene is about a teacher asking Rancho to define what a machine is. 

Rancho answered in a simpler way and the teacher got upset because Rancho didn't answer by the books. 

After a few more funny scenes, Rancho was about to leave the class but forgot his book and when asked by the teacher, he defined it in a very clever way. 

As a blogger, it's our responsibility to convey our thoughts and message in the simplest form that many would cherish and understand.

## 2. Choose Your Friends Wisely

Farhan and Raju were very lucky to have a friend like Rancho. 

He did a lot of unconventional ways to help them when they faced personal problems like when Raju's dad got hospitalized and since the ambulance will take time to bring Raju's father, he used Pia's (Rancho's love interest) motorcycle to bring the father to the hospital.

It may seem risky but despite the danger, Raju's father was still saved. This part of the movie made me realize that if we have a friend like Rancho who is willing to risk his life for you or for your family, you are the luckiest person on earth. 

Out of your hundreds or maybe even thousands of friends on Facebook, who do you think would go that far for your friendship? 

## 3. Knowledge is Everywhere

Rancho who has a knack for knowledge attends classes that are not even on his level. He attended advanced years of engineering topics not because of the grades but because he loves to learn. 

The passion for learning is an attitude that every blogger should have. You might start blogging with lots and lots of things to say but what happens after a few weeks or months of blogging? 

You get burned out, you get tired of writing, you will lack the urge to move forward. Like most things, blogging is a learning process and the more you learn, the more you write, the more you will inspire the world, so keep on blogging. 

## 4. Lying is not always bad thing

Now, hold your horses, before you say anything, hear me out first. 

There was a point where Raju committed suicide. He jumped off a building and got paralyzed. When he was at the hospital, Pia told Rancho that Raju can see and hear them and to have a fast recovery, they need to motivate him and avoid negative news to tell him. 

So they lied to him about a lot of things especially where they said Raju's sister is going to get married to Farhan which made him recover his senses.

Which tells us that for the sake of saving a life, we can sacrifice our integrity and pride,

## 5. Trick your heart

Rancho's favorite phrase is *"all is well"*. He always say it when he feels down or nervous as he learned that our heart can easily get scared. 

Whenever our hearts get clouded with fear, we tend to be afraid and sometimes having too much fear can hinder your growth or give up on your dreams. 

Remember, if you have a dream, nothing can stop you from chasing it except yourself.

## 6. Pursue Excellence and Success Will Follow

2 out of the characters represent most of us in life. 

Farhan's dream is to become a wildlife photographer but was forced to pursue engineering because of his father. 

Raju wants to become an engineer to raise his family out of poverty. 

But Rancho's passionate approach in life and knowledge influenced them tremendously that Farhan was able to become an assistant of a known wildlife  photographer and eventually becoming a successful one and Raju achieved his dream of having a better life plus becoming a successful blogger.
