My childhood hero, Stan Lee, the man who made comic strip conglomerate Marvel Comics, died on Monday at the age of 95.

Stan Lee is the creator of well-known cartoon characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk and superhero collective The Avengers.

Lee had a cameo, a minor supporting role, in all Marvel films so far. The writer can also be seen as an animation in the new Disney movie Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to the hit Wreck it Ralph.

The comic artist has made up almost six hundred superhero characters in total,
