Here we go again, another week of upcoming comic book releases for us to look at. I think my last article, sort of a post audit of comic books released 5 weeks ago, went ok…it managed some upvotes, so I’ll try it again this week. Plus it forces me to write, so that’s not a bad thing, is it?
A quick update on my search for *Swamp Thing* 2. I found what appeared to be a solid grade copy of that issue. I initially placed a bid of $15 USD on it (which would have put it in the $20 USD) range, thinking, “sweet, I should get this one soon enough…” Yet, 10 bids later, it went for +$60 USD. And no, I didn’t get the final bid. $60 USD? I mean, that’s like 3/4ths of a Litecoin, right? I think so, but I wouldn’t know, I already way too many of those LTCs…wait, why am I pricing everything in terms of Litecoin? I thought I agreed to quit talking about Litecoin and those Gnostic thoughts I’ve been researching of late? Sorry everyone, I’m weak!
Speaking of Gnostic thoughts, let’s get started with something extremely anti-gnostic, and look at some books that could net you a few dollars of profit this week. You know, for the sake of materialism...

This one is a fantastic Hulk cover; I’m going to say I’m grabbing it if it at my LCS store tomorrow and won’t be flipping it. However, if you are so inclined, sales are already in the +$10 USD range, and recent listings are climbing. A 9.8 slabbed copy is already listed at $66 USD. I’m going to pick this one regardless at some point.

Well, speaking of weak, here I go again on something Gnostic related. The interest in the series appears to be dwindling a bit; I’m not sure why, as it literally could be the story of humanity popping up in symbols and myth in the guise of this comic book story. This is number 3 of 6, I believe. I can’t wait to put a series review together on this one (I just hope Steemit is still around when I get to it!)

This one features a girl and her cat in the future. Oh, and the cat has the ability to astral travel for the betterment of the galaxy against an tyrannical overlord ruling class. I hate to sound cliché, but you had me at “astral travel.”

Set in 1987, this new title from Scout features a return of that spectre of high strangeness, the Headless Horesman, and the occulted influence of the Horeseman and his impact on the history of this country (the USA). Could be interesting…I’ll check it out.
