<html> <p> <br/>Stir fried Tofu is one of the easiest and quickest recipe you can make. Its tasty , healthy and nutritious. I used to make this dish with cottage cheese but of late i have started experimenting with tofu as well. I quit like the texture of tofu. While i use limited veggies so as to be able to feel the taste of Tofu or Paneer. However that should not hold you back should you feel like adding a bit of peas or potatoes.</p> <p><img src="https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sajannair/AxSvVroo-DSC04997.JPG" alt="DSC04997.JPG"/></p> <p>Its a perfect snack, meal or side dish for working professionals who are always short on time. My kids make this dish a lot since it goes well with a hectic lifestyle.</p> <p><img src="https://images.hive.blog/0x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sajannair/ohqbFvfv-IMG_20200620_133628.jpg" alt="IMG_20200620_133628.jpg"/></p> <h1>Ingredients</h1> <p>1.5 cups chopped tofu<br/>1/2 cup finely chopped carrots<br/>1 medium onion finely vertically chopped.<br/>1/4 cup roasted peanuts | broken cashew nuts ( optional)<br/>1 tbsp grated ginger / ginger paste.<br/>1/2 tsp coriander powder.<br/>1/4 red chilli | pepper powder<br/>1/4-1/2 tsp turmeric powder<br/>1/2 tsp Italian seasoning ( optional)<br/>1/2 tsp salt<br/>1 tsp ghee/olive oil</p> <h1>The recipe</h1> <p>Heat a pan with a tsp of oil/ghee. Wait for it heat.<br/>Sautee the tofu for a few mins till they turn brown. Set aside.<br/>Pour a tbsp of oil and heat.<br/>Add the red chilli powder | pepper, coriander powder, turmeric powder, grated/paste ginger. mix for a few secs.<br/>Add the onions and fry till pink and translucent.<br/>Now add the peanuts / cashew if any. Fry for a min.<br/>Add the carrots. Cook for a couple of 3-4 mins or till carrot turns soft.<br/>Add the tofu mix well. Be careful not to break the tofu pieces. Mix well.<br/>Finally add the salt and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
