I want to share with you some informations about something i’m pretty excited for this year. Maybe you’ve heard about Qryptos or Qash, it’s a company called Quoine who is behind. So what’s Quoine ? It’s an ambitious tech company who provides trading, exchange and next generation financial services powered by blockchain technology. They’re building an ecosystem around it and it looks really promising.
Quoine it’s more than 250 years of combined experience in fintech, more than $12B annual trading volume and licensed by Japan FSA, so don’t worry about the legality. Created in 2014 by a strong team coming from the traditional banking world

Quoinex or Quoine exchange, is focusing on accepting fiat currency deposit like Coinbase or OKCoin. So it’s a cryptocurrency exchange, which is established since 2014 and it is one of the the first regulated by the JFSA. Very safe, no major hack yet and a good customer service. They accepts Bank Transfers not only credit cards. The trading platform feels really solid.

It’s their second brand for digital asset trading. This is similar to the business model use Coinbase/GDAX, OKCoin/OKEX and Quoinex/Qryptos for Quoine.
Qryptos is pretty interesting as trading platform. First because it’s safe, they use a 100% cold wallet and this avoid big incident like the hack of this japanese exchange by their hot wallet with over USD500M worth of NEM stolen. But the unique selling point is to stimulate initial liquidity, the exchange offers negative trading fees on new coins to securing early liquidity. Qryptos is trying to tackle the very controversial crypto industry issue, ICOs.

It’s the first Prime Brokerage and Meta-exchange in crypto.
As you know in the finance world, huge investment banks like Goldman Sachs fill a role called a Prime Brokerage which gives Hedge funds a great power for cash management. So they can focus on the execution of their strategy without to worry about the logistics of their money. And nothing like this exists in crypto but Liquid will change this. Liquid is both a World Order Book and a Prime Brokerage. Their traders will have instant liquidity by being able to trade across trading pairs, on any exchanges.
For example, you might want to buy BTC/USD from US exchange, and someone else want to sell ETH/EUR in Paris. On Liquid this order is matched with any available markets, such as ETH/BTC, EUR/USD and across crypto and FX exchanges to provide liquidity for that trade. They take care off all cash management, so you can trade on any exchange without a account on that exchange and without funds on that exchange. This is reduces your counter party risk and it will allow a lot of new money in crypto space. And the cryptocurrency that will back all of this is Qash !
