It is easy to imagine that this commandment can cause a very negative reaction. Meekness is not at all what she is accused of unknowingly.

Meekness is the great ability of one person to understand and forgive another. She is the result of humility. And humility is characterized by the ability to put God or someone else at the center of your life.

A humble man, poor in spirit, is ready to understand and forgive. And meekness is patience and generosity. Now imagine how our life would be if we could all accept, understand, and forgive other people.

Even a simple trip on public transport would turn into something completely different. And the relationships with colleagues, family, neighbors, friends and strangers who are on our way ...

After all, a meek person transfers a heavy burden of himself to another. First he judges himself, demands himself, asks himself, and forgives the other. Or if you can't forgive, you're at least trying to understand someone else.

Now our society, which has gone through the tests of general confrontation, through the crucible of internal hostility, is gradually recognizing the need to develop a culture of tolerance in social relations.

Political leaders, writers, scientists, the media unanimously urge us to tolerance, to the ability to coordinate interests and take into account a different point of view.

A person who cannot understand and forgive another, without patience and generosity, can never humble his pride. Therefore, the tolerance that is now called society, external tolerance, not rooted in inner meekness, is an empty phrase and another chimera.

We can become tolerant of each other, build a calm, peaceful, and prosperous society only if we find true meekness, non-malice, and the ability to understand and forgive.

Meekness, perceived by many as weakness, becomes a great power that can not only help a person solve the tasks he faces, but also introduce him to the inheritance of the land, that is, guarantee the achievement of the main objective: the Kingdom of God, whose symbol is the promised land.
