There are things in life that, no matter how hard you try, you can not alter them. It takes enough maturity for people to realize the things that they cannot change about life and welcome them with open minds. You cannot stop the sun from giving off blazing heat, you can only build a shelter over your head to prevent the rays from hitting you. In life, you should live every moment prepared. Even though you are to hope for the best to come out of life, you should also brace yourself against the worst.

Life does not always move in the direction you may have expected it to. This is why you have to live for the moment and for the present. The future does not happen by accident or by chance but it follows the actions you have taken today.

While growing up, you may have lined out many things you wish to achieve with the age attached to them, but the question is; is life following that same route you had charted in your imagination? Even though life may have taken another turn, it does not mean you are a failure. After all, there are many ways of achieving greatness. This is why it is only the end result that gives credence to the processes.

Wrapping your head in grief because life did not happen as you have planned will only becloud your sense of perception from seeing and accessing other goodies that are embedded in life. When life offers you a cracked egg, for example, do you weep over the cracked egg or will you break up the egg and use it to make some delicious omelettes?

The fairness in life is not always certain. In your own part, you should build up yourself in such a way that the unfairness in life will not faze you out, rather it will provide you with the needed leverage to make greatness out of seemingly unfair situation.

Great people are not the people that are not challenged by life but they are the people that have learnt to put up an opposition to the challenges of life. Remember this; it is the same fire that causes harm to rubber vessels that also solidifies earthen vessels, what makes the difference is the stuff they are made of and not the situation.
