Speaking is not just for the fun of it but it is an art that should be mastered. Many people have gotten themselves into a particular mess or the other simply because of what they say and how they say it. Words have enough potency in them to create and to destroy things, it only depends on what you do with words. You may have many things to talk to someone about but the question will always be "are all of them necessary at that moment?"

You do not just use words because you can or just to show your linguistic acumen but you use them because you need to say something and to communicate rightly. This is the reason communication is not only dependent on the choice of words but how the words are used and the tone they are spoken. A right word can be spoken wrongly if the tone does not follow a user-friendly pattern.
You should understand that the words that come out from your mouth, more often than not, have their root in the heart - so they are not mere sounds. You will agree with me that even your actions tend to tilt towards the direction of your spoken words. This is how powerful words can be. The discipline of the tongue is one of the signs of maturity. At a point, you will realize that even silence can have a louder tone than spoken words.
Speaking positively is not a gift, it is a choice you need to consciously make without recourse to the impending situation. Even in the midst of gross negativities, you can still choose to focus and speak on the positive sides and your whole energy will be channelled towards that positive side.
If you confront a negative situation with negative words, you will just end up with negative actions and the situation will become even more complicated. The way to confront negative situation is by speaking positively and then acting positively in accordance with your words.
More often than not, people's actions are normally drawn towards the direction of their dominant words. For example, if someone that is preparing for an exam keeps declaring negatively, it will subconsciously affect their level of preparation and ultimately their performance will dwindle. Not because a village wizard located them but because they allowed their negative words to becloud their actions.

I ask you this simple question: the last time you spoke negatively about your situation, did it make it to improve? You see, there is no wisdom is doing what will not be gainful. Your situation is not meant to change your positivity, you are the one that is meant to change your situation with your positivity.
