Slip backwards and rollback 
The horrid fates that dealt the hand 
all undone, all to sand.

Snip the string that wove the day 
Draw a new card 
Is that all you have to play?
No need to say, *no need to pray.*

The furies are here to protect from fear,
Fates loom fit to weave a tapestry so sheer.
The remorse you felt, nostalgia.. how?
The passage of time, so pleasant somehow.

Twenty-twenty was the name of my band.
When glancing back along times hand.
Little stones pitch along pavement path.
But for tomorrows grasp is all I ask.

Seize the day.
