The shots were collected over three years I would say... and the edit took around a week.  I guess you can feel I loved every moment?

Am lucky to have been in such beautiful places with the means and will to capture it in my own way.

Hey there!  Thanks for watching the time-lapse.  I post it every day but apparently today was the first time it was noticed on mass ;) 

You are the second person to bring up the question of childhood abuse in relation to the teachings of Abraham.  The last time I had to go and watch a bunch more Abraham lectures because I didn't feel too sure about the answer.  As hard as it may be to understand, Abraham is clear about this... children do invite the negativity, though not consciously  of course.  Abraham insists that even before they are talking they are manifesting every part of their reality.  And... everything is as it should be, so even if as adults we are still being triggered by certain events, we must simply find acceptance and look for ways in which the experience has made us stronger.

I have this strange feeling when talking about this subject.  Perhaps because it is difficult to fully understand Abraham's words?  Or perhaps because of my own childhood experiences? 

I went to a very strict boarding school at age 7 and was freaking out in the new environment, but there was this one teacher who helped me get through it by teaching me how to be a magician.  We became great friends (I thought) and he permitted me to break the rules by being in his house when all the other kids were asleep.  He gave me a small glass of coca-cola on these occasions and the rest is a blur.  I would wake up back in my bed in the dormitory.  I remember the other kids teasing me for my intimate relationship with him.  They also told me that I would sleep with my eyes open all the time, which years later I learned is a side effect of Rohypnol.  The teacher was discovered to be a paedophile a few years after I left the school and he now drives a taxi.  

I felt annoyed that I couldn't remember anything.  He was a hypnotist so perhaps it is because of that or perhaps because of a drug.  Either way, I was able to discover where he worked and thought about going to see him because I felt like I needed more information, like it would somehow release me from the anguish I was experiencing at that time in my life.

In the end I was able to let it go and return to the mantra that everything is as it should be.  My experiences at that school have deeply affected me, no question about it.  Beatings were a regular thing there and I lived in constant fear of being punished.  Something I am still dealing with today.

In a way all the teachers there were abusing the children with their pain punishments, me particularly because I struggled to hear people's words when they were angry with me.  I still do!  Yep, they beat me a lot and usually for things I didn't understand.

Anyway, the point of this story is that prior to me discovering the bigger picture I felt such gratitude for what this teacher had given me.  He taught me magic because I asked him to and I used it as a way to survive this crazy school, later going on to win the Young Magician of the Year competition when I was 13 years old.  After this I knew I could achieve anything I set my mind to.  

So, no matter what he did, the dominant feeling when I think of him is gratitude.  And while the events of my past may still guide me in the present I don't feel like it is important to have the 'more information' I once desired.  

You know I choose these Abraham quotes at random and very often get my questions answered in this way.  With this in mind, here is today's:

Your work is to choose from among all of that which feels best to you, and fixate on it as long as it gives you pleasure and joy.
