No one experiences freedom until they stop pushing against others. The only thing that binds you is the pushing against that which is unwanted. And so, if a religion could just be excited about what it is, or a person within a religion could just speak with appreciation about what it is, without justifying what it is by pushing against everything else, then each religion, in all of its difference, could be just exactly what you’re reaching for.

Hi Sam,
So true ...  no religion that feels the need to be "pushing against others" could be correct! It is better to take the spiritual practices and concepts of all religions and study in depth so that all can find the basic essence to be one and same.

YES!!! Freedom from pushing, pushing against, pushing forward, pushing separation.... Pushing, period. Just allowing. And focusing on what I'm choosing from the stream of Wellbeing that is there for each of us as we choose.

This one caught me so perfectly.  In the morning I received an email from someone who (from my perspective) had been unnecessarily aggressive with me.  I wrote my response to include my thoughts on his aggressiveness and upon reading my words I realised the overall feeling was pushing against, so I adjusted them to be nothing but loving & grateful. 

An hour later I read Abraham's words above and I smiled knowing how perfectly they fitted this situation.

Pride is such a powerful thing it can really catch us quickly in the heat of the moment.  

Am pleased that I am able to see the bigger picture these days so that my message (verbal & written) may be one that is in tune with who I really am.
